The Audi A6 is one of the most premier luxury sedans currently on the market. While it has been around for years now, it’s always being tweaked to get even better. The 2022 Audi A6 may not have been changed too much, but there are some subtle differences that drivers everywhere appreciate.

Power and Performance

The Audi A6 still comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 261 horsepower. There are also three others available as well, which we've outlined below:

  • 3.0-liter turbocharged V6: 335 horsepower
  • 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6: 444 horsepower
  • 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8: 591 horsepower

All-wheel drive also comes standard in the Audi A6, as does a seven-speed automatic transmission. An eight-speed automatic transmission comes in upper trims.

Tech and Connectivity

The most notable change for the 2022 Audi A6 is its infotainment system. While previous versions utilized a click-wheel controller, that has been replaced with reconfigurable menus. This enables users to customize their home screens.

The previous 8.8-inch touchscreen has been upgraded to a 10.1-inch model. There are still several standard features, including navigation and Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ integration. You can also add wireless device charging and a 16- or 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system.

Safety and Security

Something that hasn’t changed with the Audi A6 is its impressive number of safety features. Every model comes with:

  • Forward collision warning
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Rearview camera
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane departure warning
